Hi Everyone
Do you believe it, we are rolling right into March. Hope that means warmer weather.
This month at Mema's Crafts the sponsor is - Kenny K. There are a whole host of digital images on his site, Click here to take a peek.
I decided upon a cute little fish digital for my March project. After much thought and changing my mind a few times as to what I wanted to do, I decided on a "card in a box".
Let me share this with you.
Please click here for more pictures and additional information on this card.

My Altered Art Piece
Hi Everyone,
Did you miss me. Probably not so much. LOL
And where have I been?? My muse decided to take a vacation and I just couldn't get my juices flowing.
Well tonite I joined in on Terri Sproul's Tuesday nite live broadcast and wella, here is what I created.
This is done on a canvas board, I started with a Tim Holtz tissue wrap base and I used Gelato's some iridescent medium, matte medium, light molding paste, a stencil, a stamped image, and some lovely flowers.I also added some Twinkling H2O's for more color.
This piece was so much fun to do, Hope you enjoy it as much as I did in making it.
I have a couple of posts that will be coming up around March 1, so stay tuned for those. I think you will like what I have coming.
I am submitting this project to the following challenges:

Craft Your Passion - Always Anything Goes (#86)

True Friends
Hi Everyone
Do you love those different step cards that are out there in blogland?? I know I do.
I found a great card with the steps in the center. This design is known as a double sided step card. I found this card quite easy for me to cut. Click Here for a great post with instructions in case you want to try this yourself.

On the side panels, I used DP and over that I used some 5X7 HOTP Color Me Floral Card Toppers.
They were too long for my side panels so I trimmed them so they would be just the right length.
For the center area, I used a clear heavy transparent sheet for the back step. I attached the stamped oval with the sentiment stamped on the top and a lace die cut was used at the bottom of that piece..
On the front step, I used another transparent sheet with that lace piece at the bottom and them I used a stamped butterfly on the top of that piece.
The sentiment is a little hard to read, so here is what it says,
"True friends grow seperately without growing apart."
What a great sentiment

Here is my card folded shut
Opened up
Here are some of my handmade flowers.
The Bow:
I made this bow by stacking the purple and blue ribbon.and used the Craft-Dee BowZ tool to made a double loop bow. After the bow was removed from the tool, I pulled the loops apart to give the bow a fluffy look.
Time to get your Craft-Dee BowZ tool out and make a beautiful fluffy bow.
Don't forget, the Craft-Dee BowZ challenge is going on all month.
The theme is "Anything Goes with a Handmade Bow."
Hope to see your project entered.
