Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - #58

Hello everyone and welcome back.

Time for another challenge over at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends.
The sponsors for this challenge are

Crafts and Me

AND

I choose to use  4 Square Floral from Bugaboo Stamps

This image has quite a few possibilities - and I decided to do something a little different

I printed the image and cut the CS into a 6X6 square.
By doing that, I couldn't use a decorative corner punch
because it would cut into the corners of the image. So that was out.
However when you use a corner punch here is waste
so I  used some of that waste and it gave me a great look.

I used this Martha Stewart punch - Scallop 3 Dot
See that L shaped piece, well I used  one in each of the 4 corners and then I used more

I put two together to make this shape.
BTW I did not use the dots

OK here is the end result of

I added small triangles on the side center spots.

I decided to  make the 3 floral images on the digi more dimensional
To do that I actually had printed a second sheet to be able to make the dimensional pieces

I used another MS punch - 3 in 1 Hydrangea, and used the smaller flower and shaped them and glued them to the image and next added yellow Flower Soft to the bloom centers

Here is a close up
This looked like a hyacinth bloom
so the little flowers on the punch worked perfectly on this image
This turned out really great looking

Next image -  I just popped another daisy on top of the daisy on the card panel

I added color and glitter to the center

I did the same thing to the other floral image and the small leaf

For the sentiment I just added glitter, no dimension here.

Happy Birthday

Hi Everyone
Welcome back.
On the 1st Tuesday of each month I post a card for Craft-Dee BowZ. This card must contain a bow that I have made but other than that I can make anything, card or whatever and I can choose the theme.

Well I belong to a Birthday Card Club over on Facebook and I have to send out birthday cards each month to different recipients. So I make a few birthday cards each month and I thought I'd share this one with you. It will go to a person who has a June birthday.

As I was making this card I used some things that were on my desk, begging to be included in a card and I also tried out the new  Distress Oxides and used a piece as a background. But it's kind of hard to see because I have so many things that really cover that up.

Now.... I usually don't use orange on cards, it's just not one of my favorite colors
but this orange ribbon worked great with this card.

Hope you can see some of the oxide background I made,
its by the daisies and above the happy birthday die cut.
I also used a Martha Stewart punch around the page punches  to get the unusual panel.
I punched the 4 corners then I punched one straight punch, not connecting all the way around.
(Hope that made sense.) I then added a pink piece on the unpunched edge just to make this layered card panel really different. Oh and the daisy centers, I colored them using fossilized amber oxide, I used a paint brush and tapped it on, I also added a halo of cracked pistachio to accent that amber color.

Let me show a closer view of my double loop bow I made for this card.

Using my Craft-Dee BowZ tool, this type of bow is so easy to make.

Craft-Dee BowZ Challenge - May

Hello everyone and welcome to May

Do you believe it, this year is 1/3 over all ready!!  May 1st and we are in the great season of spring. I love spring, but I love all the seasons. By the time the next season starts I am ready for it. I am lucky I live in an area where we experience all 4 seasons.

The sponsor this month is Bugaboo and  I decided to use this beautiful digital image.

This image is called Beautiful Blocks - Life and can be found here

I colored the water lilies a pinkish color
and the purple CS is a great compliment to the colors in the digital image.
I added a glitter paper border and some of my handmade flowers to finish this off.

Above are 2 different views of my bow.
This bow is 2 single loop bows that are stacked on top of each other.
I love this style of a multi-loop bow and it is so easy to make.

The Craft-Dee BowZ tool makes this style of bow so easy to make.
