I just picked up 3 new Northwoods stamps last week. I fell in love with these stamps because they have cardinals on them. I happen to love cardinals. I made this card using one of those stamps.
Supplies used:
Northwoods stamp - O8287
Martha Stewart Around the Page Punch - Double Arches
Copic Markers - R14, G29, C-2
Pearl Pen - Ice White
Distress Ink - Gathered Twigs
Sparkle N Sprinkle Glitter - Sparkling Snow G1003
Ribbon
Card stock - Green, Cardinal Red
These little guys are in my background almost every day. Maybe that is why I love cardinals so much. Of course they just happen to be the state bird for Ohio and Ky. and probably a few other states as well.
Have a great week and I will be back with cards using the other new Northwoods stamps I picked up, in a few days.

ReplyDeleteBarbara, this is simply beautiful! Love the double arches frames around the cardinals. Cardinals and winter just go together, don't they?
ReplyDeleteLove your card! I also love cardinals and do lots of cards with them. Have you tried the Heartfelt Creations cardinals with their dies? So nice!
ReplyDeleteWow! It is beautiful! Love the coloring for the punch layer. Do you have cardinals there? Dumb question - do they stay even during the winter? We have 4 breeding pairs here. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous card!
ReplyDeletei love cardinals too! Gorgeous card!!!
ReplyDeleteOh how pretty this is. I agree, cardinals are wonderful images for Christmas. In the UK, it is our little Robin Redbreast, but I have to say, he's way cuter than your US robins! So Cardinals win it here!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so super pretty and the border you created is a perfect frame for those birds!
ReplyDeleteLovin this card, Barb. Simple and elegant.
