Hi Everyone,
Well today it's Thanksgiving and I want to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving Day!! Hope you are all having a wonderful day with family and friends. Oh I bet the food is to die for, too.(LOL)
Today is Thursday and it's time for the next weeks Art Impressions weekly challenge. This weeks theme is "flowers".
So with that in mind, I made flowers using Nested Poinsettias, using vellum paper. Next I stamped beautiful snowflakes on designer paper and heat embossed the snowflakes using white detail embossing powder. I added a sentiment and some ribbon and the card is finished.
Supplies used:
Art Impressions Stamps - May the Love H774, Med. Snowflake H2753
Spellbinders dies - Nested Poinsettias S4-219, Ovals S4-110, Scalloped Ovals S4-111
Paper/Card Stock - Designer Paper, Vellum, Teal Blue CS
Embossing Powder - White Detail
Copic Markers - R81 (Used to color the Poinsettias)
Ribbon
Brads
This is so elegant and lovely Barbara, just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBarbara, this is an amazing card! Did the vellum petals naturally stay dimensional, or did you have to do something to make them more pliable? The colors are lovely, and the entire card design produces a very elegant effect.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Barbara, I really like the vellum poinsettia's and the snow flakes look like they are falling at dusk on a moon lit night.
ReplyDeleteThis is STUNNING!! I love the beautiful white flowers against the rich blue color. Fantastic job!
