Welcome to the first Craft-Dee BowZ Blog Hop. This months blog hop is featuring a Valentine theme. If you hopped here by way of Amber's Blog then you are in the right place!! Otherwise you might wish to start at the Craft-Dee BowZ blog to become eligible for the Craft-Dee BowZ prize of a tool and a spool of beautiful ribbon.
Since Valentine's Day is right around the corner I thought I would make a card that might give you some inspiration if you still need to make that special card for the special someone in your life.
A side step card makes a cool card and is quite easy to make and assemble
Here is a close up of my bow
and using the Craft-Dee BowZ tool makes your bow making abilities easy.
I also made a darling little box that is perfect for a little sweet treat to accompany a card.
I used just a single loop bow using wired ribbon. It turned out to be a perfect choice for this box.
Here is a view more from the top looking down. It gives a better view of the bow.
Here is the box opened with the sweet treats spilling out
Thanks for taking the time to join us for the first blog hop. Please remember to comment here on my blog and then leave one last comment over at the Craft-Dee BowZ blog to be
eligible for the prize. We are looking forward to your thoughts on our first blog hop.
The winner will be announced on Saturday at the Craft-Dee BowZ blog, so check back there to see if you are the winner.
Thanks for participating in our blog hop. Have a great day.
Barbara, a gorgeously assembled card with a beautiful bow - love the way the lace stretches across the bottom step. I have that heart punch, too, and find it really brings out the flavor of a card beautifully! Your treat "box" is adorable! So sweet... Beautiful projects, my dear friend and seester.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous bow on your step card. The valentine ribbon is so sweet. Do you need wired ribbon to make these great bows? Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHi Debi, no you don't need to use wired ribbon. But when you do the bow can be positioned ,but if it gets crushed it can be reshaped. That's why I live using wired ribbon
