A Turkey Revisited

Hi Everyone

I want to welcome to my newest follower, Pamellia. Glad to have you joining me.

I wanted to post this right after Thanksgiving but I got busy and I just forgot. So, let's regress to a few weeks ago, Thanksgiving. I hear some laughing. OK OK

I live in the greater Cincinnati area and ever year the Cincinnati Enquirer, our local newspaper, holds a contest, Dress the Turkey. They publish a large line art drawing of a turkey in the newspaper.. The contest says to dress it however we want and submit it. They give a deadline and the winners and others are published on Thanksgiving Day. I love Zentangle® and since there is so much open space on the turkey, I decided to tangle this cutie.

After I tangled this turkey I colored it with Pan Pastels to add to his personality. I loved how this turned out,  and wanted to share this before Thanksgiving was long gone.

Well it time for you (and me) to come back to the present, back to preparing for the upcoming Christmas holiday, you know, the shopping, the decorating, making cards and all the other things we do at this time of the year.

I am submitting this to the following challenges:

Have a great week.
