Happy 4th of July

Hello, hello, hello!!!

Welcome to my 2nd post today

As I Mentioned in my first post today, I have been accepted on 2 design teams and I am really excited to be part of these fun teams. They are sister design teams in sister challenge blogs, Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog and Love To Scrap Challenge Blog and you might be familiar with these challenges. The challenges post on the same day and this is my 2nd post and  am showcasing my card for the  Love To Scrap Challenge Blog.

I went thru my scraps (and I keep lots of scraps, I guess you can call me a scrap horder - LOL). I try things out and might not use the trial piece but I will save it unless it's a disaster. Since I will keep the trial piece, it sometimes will give me inspiration for a project down the road. So, I went to my scrap tray and spied this patriotic piece and decided it would be perfect since July 4 is righr around the corner. Perfect timing for this medallion.

First, here is the inspiration piece that is in my scraps tray

I made this a long long time ago and thought this would be a great piece on a patriotic card. So that's how my card came to be.

I made a new medallion and rounded up some patriotic images and here is my finished card.

That inspiration piece looks great with the stamped images from my stash.
