Hi there,
Boy I can't believe it's Thursday already. Today is the beginning of the Weekly Challenge over at Art Impressions. This weeks theme, rain or shine.
I saw golfers at the course the other day and it was really early in the morning and I was thinking they will golf at anytime unless it's raining. So, that thought stuck in my mind and here is the card I came up with for this weeks theme.
Aren't these two a hoot!!??!!. Well here they are, on the 18th green, getting ready to putt.
It's raining here as I write this post. Guess these two won't be golfing any today.LOL
Hope you have a great day.
Supplies used:
Art Impressions Stamps - Golfers T3475
Copic Markers - E33, R29, RV13, RV06, V05, RV21, G94, G99, G82, Y17, BG10, BV000, BV08, BV20, C-1

I don't have time
Hi Everyone,
Happy Wednesday. !!! This week I made a visit to see Madge and boy what a day she's had.
I know I've had days that really mimic Madge and that verse can be so true. LOL
I love this orange color, it is so now. It's so Madge. LOL.
Periodically I get comments about my bows. This is really 2 bows pushed together and they are what I call "rabbit ears" bows. They are done by hand. No tools, Easy Peasy!! Really!! I will do a pic tutorial and show you how I do it. It will be in a week or so as I will be gone for a few days and won't have time to get this finished before I leave. So stay tuned for that.
Supplies used:
Stamps Used- Art Impressions - Don't have Time D1430, Madge L1549
Ribbon
Paper/CS used - Teal Core'dinations CS, white cs, cream cs, designer paper
Inks used - VersaMark, Distress Ink Gathered Twigs, Distress Ink Old Paper
Embossing Powder - Shimmer EP
Copic Markers - BG13, BG000, E43, C-1, YR09, YR61
Embossing Folder
Spellbinder Die - S4-111 Scalloped Oval
Hole Punch
OK, I have to get a card ready for you all to see for the Art Impression's Weekly Challenge post on Thursday.
Thanks for stopping in today and I hope you stop in tomorrow.

Another Stencil
Hi Everyone,
How is your Tuesday going. I have another card to share with you that I made using a stencil as the focal point. If you look at the pic up close, you will notice I outlined the larger parts of the stencilled design. I used a black Micron pen, and used 005 size point. You will find that the outline makes the image just pop. I used Twinkling H2O's on dry watercolor paper. You can use card stock as well. Just make sure your watercolor product is not real drippy. I used a brush to apply. I did not use an aqua brush, you know the ones that hold water in the handle, they get too drippy and you cannot control the water flow that well.

The green triangles you see, have been made using a corrugated square. I pulled the top piece of the square off to reveal the wavy inside. I painted the corrugated side with green acrylic paint and glued it over the punched white CS panel. Next I attached the stencilled design over the corrugated square.
Well I think I have the stencils out of my mind for a while. LOL But you never know, you may see more.
That is it for now, see you soon

The Tuck Box
Hi Everyone
I have been working on a few projects and thought I'd share this one with you all today.
This cute box is called a Tuck Box, made using an AccuCut die and white CS weight paper. I wanted to work this up and make it cute and had a few things on my work area that were begging me to be used. So, here is the cute little box, decorated. It would be perfect for a smaller gift, like earrings jewelry, a gift card, or whatever you can come up with.
The box measures from below the handle is 4 3/4" X 4 1/2". The base is smaller that the top and it is 2 3/4". This box is about 2" deep front to back. The handle sits up about 2 1/2". Hope you were able to follow all those measurements. LOL
I used some green mottled CS on the front and then sponged Distressed Ink Bundled Sage to the edges and to the base of the handle. Next to give the handles some personality, I wound cord around each handle. It took about 10' per handle and I really like the look the finished handles give this box. I used a flourish and added some beautiful Parisian Mist Glitter (G1037) from Sparkle N Sprinkle to it. Since I had that medallion sitting around for a while, I added the pretty roses to the center and added it to the box front. Next I added a few roses to the flourish to finish it off this box.
What a darling gift holder this is.
Thanks for stopping in today.

Stencils
Hi Everyone
I guess love stencils, cause I am always adding to my collection. Do I use them frequently???.........Nope. So last week I did some watercoloring with my Tinkling H2O's at Angie's and used some of my stencils. After coming home I continued to dabble. Here is the end result of that little card making trial using a stencil and Twinkling H2O's on watercolor paper.
The only stamping I did, was the word. This turned out so nice, I will have to try my hand at a few more. In the meantime, I just saw some new stencils and will be getting those next week. Hmm.........more cool backgrounds in the offing. Stay tuned on that.
Thanks for stopping in today

Stuff I picked up
Hi Everyone,
What a busy week. Hope you all had a great time checking out the sneak peeks and hopefully you hopped along in the blog hop Thursday nite.
Well last Sunday I went to the monthly antique show here in N. KY. It was packed and the weather was perfect, except for a little too much wind for some of the vendors. I went in search of small stuff and really didn't see much that fit my needs but I wanted to show you what I did pick up.
That hand written sheet really caught my eye. The penmanship is absolutely perfect, and it's dated by the person who wrote it, 1914, almost 100 years ago. I find that totally amazing!! I found those wooden ABC blocks for cheap cheap, cheap, a few thimbles and some lace that will find it's way to some cards. One other thing I bought which I have yet to photograph is a hand crocheted purse. It's black and in above average shape. I have a few places that I need to stitch up and it will be like new. As soon as I get that done I will show that off.
Well that is it for now. I will have to go to some of my other haunts to look for more little "stuff".

Cornish Heritage Farm's Sneak Peak Day 4
Hi Everyone
Well it's Wednesday and today I have 2 posts. If you are looking for my Art Impressions post, please scroll down to the next post.
Hey, have you checked out the other CHF design team members blogs and looked at their sneak peeks this week so far! (I've listed the whole team below). All I can say is WOW, so much inspiration!!!
For today's card I combined a background stamp with that pretty poppy flower, which is a digi.
The background stamp is a rubber stamp, French Script and I used 2 types of gold card stock, a shiny one and a dull gold. I stamped both gold panels using VersaMark and then used gold detail EP and heat set. I layered these 2 panels and added the poppy flower that is colored with copics and fussy cut.
I was playing around with this black card and the gold mesh and decided that it would be perfect to showcase this pretty poppy on the gold panels.
Stamps used -
Floral 14 (Poppy) (digi)
It's so Nice - Sentiment (digi)
SL3145 - French Script (rubber background stamp)
Gold Mesh
Cardstocks used- Shiny gold, Dull gold, Black, White
Gold Detail EP
Copics - R29, R89, RV21, G21
Dye Ink - Crimson Lake edging on oval

This is going to be an exciting week on my blog. This week is Cornish Heritage Farm week and I will be showing you cards made with various CHF stamps throughout the whole week. Today thru Thursday you will be treated to sneak peeks showcasing stamps and digi's, then on Thursday evening at 10:00 p.m. EDT the CHF blog hop starts. All of the design team members have created wonderful and exciting projects using CHF products (rubber stamps and digi's)and we are all looking forward to sharing them with you.
Don’t forget to check out all the Cornish Heritage Farms Design Team’s blogs for more sneak peeks everyday! (I've listed the whole team below so you can sit back with your favorite drink and check out their projects as well.)
This month, CHF has 17 backgrounders, 3 ATC Sets, 2 individual Rummage Bin Stamps and 3 Rummage Bin Stamp sets being released.
Join us for our release Blog Hop this Thursday April 19th at 10 PM EDT, starting on the Cornish Heritage Farms Blog.
The New Release Stamps will be available in the Cornish Heritage Farms Store starting Thursday, April 19th at 10 PM EST.
CHF is offering a "First 24 Special" - receive 15% off all orders that are placed within the first 24 hours of the release.
Today, I spotlighting a card that utilizes 2 digi's. The digi's are so easy to download and use.
Digi stamps used, are available for purchase now.
The sentiment - 1477 It's so nice - digi
Image stamp - 3526 Birds and Flowers - digi
I brayered the inks onto the top cardstock panel and then ran it thru an embossing folder. I also added more layers to the card front. Next I printed the image and the sentiment out onto cardstock and used a die to cut the sentiment and fussy cut the image. I added some color to those and added a few flowers and well, the card is done.
If you have time, check out the other DT members blogs for more inspiration.

Stuff
Hi Everyone,
No card today but I wanted to share a couple of things with you.
First, starting tomorrow,I will be showcasing cards made with Cornish Heritage Farms stamps for five days. These stamps will be available for purchase (the release) Thursday nite at 10:00 p.m. EDT. Now I did mix some of their great digi images with the rubber stamps. I had never really worked with digi's before coming on the CHF DT but I must say, they are pretty easy to work with. Love the fact that you can make the image larger or smaller,so there is more flexibility with digi's. I will have double posts on some days and the top post will indicate that. Also you are probably wondering why the release starts at 10 p.m.??? Well, the blog hop starts then, so you will want to stop in for that and there are 3 designers whose blog comments will be eligible for prizes. You will want to comment on all the DT blogs because we designers don't know who was chosen to have their blog comments eligible for the drawing.Don't forget all the rubber stamps that are being used throughout the week on all of the designers blogs, will be available for purchase starting at 10:00p.m. Thursday.
Next, I want to show you a project I did a few years ago, it now hangs in my family room.

These are canvas pieces that are 12X12 and they are the ABC's. I attached what I call "stuff" to each canvas to give more visual interest. My stuff box is getting low so I plan on filling it back up soon with some new acquisitions, going to the antique show. I will do a show and tell of some of the great finds after the BH is finished.
Well that is all for today, but I am looking forward to seeing you all starting tomorrow for 5 days of Cornish Heritage Farms inspiration.
Have a great week,

Happy Birthday
Hi Everyone
I did a very simple card for today's post. I made an A-2 card and cut an oval out of the front of the card. Next, and I've wanted to try this for a while, I stamped around the oval to give the appearance of a full lush wreath of sorts. Next I added a back to the inside of the card, and I stamped the sentiment. Lastly I added a few small vines to the sentiment area to finish it off. All of the stamps I used with the exception of the sentiment are in the watercolor area of the Art Impressions store.
Supplies Used:
Art Impressions Stamps - E597 Happy Birthday, BB2061 Sm Vine, AA1366 Leaves, AA3017 Daisy Bunch, AA1366 Leaves, AA1368 Teeny Tiny Flowers, B3494 Twigs, AA3384 Tiny Vine, AA1283 Fern
Inks used- Distress Ink Gathered Twig, Adirondack Lettuce & Eggplant
White CS
I love the fact that the Art Impressions water color foliage stamps can be used for some many different things besides scenes.
Well, have you entered you card in the Operation Write Home challenge, the challenge has been extended til Saturday evening, so you still have time. Click here to see the guidelines. We'd love to see your project and you have a great chance to win a prize.
Thanks for stopping in today don't forget to check out the blog hop over at Unity at 8:00 p.m. tonite. Click here to go directly over.
See you soon

Thanks
Hi Everyone,
I am showing a card that I just learned to make this evening at club, Thank You Trish.
This is known as a Cascading Card and it's my 1st attempt. I am ready to try another.I have to get this better looking.
I added 2 arches to be able to attach more items of interest. However from this angle the back arch looks like a handle. The one towards the front is lost. This card design, in my humble opinion, is difficult to photograph. And as I was getting this post ready at the 11th hour, I really didn't have time to redo, etc. So I am sure you will see me do another one of these soon. Sorry to sound so negative on this post, I will be making another and hopefully it will be better.
Supplies I used:
Stamps - Art Impressions I-2529 mini memories background, E464 Thanks,F2520 Margaret, E2518 Helene Profile, G2642 Mini Ladies Hat
Card stock/paper used - Green CS, Green Designer Papers, White CS
Inks used - Distress Ink Old Paper, Gathered Twigs
Butterflies were given to me
Flowers
Spellbinders Dies - Labels Sixteen S4-301, Labels Seventeen S5-025,Scalloped Circles S4-115 & S4-117
Stop in tomorrow for my Thursday post spotlighting the weekly Art Impressions challenge.
Another reminder, there is a blog hop tomorrow evening at 8:00 p.m. EDT over at my {ippity} blog, please stop by for some fun and lots of inspiration. Click here to go to the start of the hop.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you tomorrow,

Sparkle N Sprinkle Sketch Challenge
Hi Everyone
I thought I'd show you one of my takes on the Sparkle N Sprinkle April sketch challenge.
I thought I'd use stamp set 403 By the Sea. This set is so cool and is perfect for a card or maybe a great layout for that wonderful trip to the beach.
I used the design in the landscape view. Next I colored the castle with colored pencils and shaded it with gamsol. I applied VersaMark over the image and covered the image with shimmer ep , EP135, then heat set it. I popped the seashell with dimensional foam. I hope this gives you inspiration to enter the Sketch challenge this month.
We'd love to see your creation and you will be eligible to win a stamp set of your choice. So click here to go over to the Sparkle N Sprinkle sketch page for more information and to add your creation to be eligible to win.
Thanks for stopping in today.
