Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - 50

Hello and welcome back

WOW January is almost half over - do you believe it!!

It's the 2nd Saturday of the month
and that means it's time for the next challenge over at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends. 

You know, I think I chose this image with spring in mind, 

and I know I am ready for the season to change............how about you!!

 My cuties are called Ducklings in the Rain

Here is a closer view of the ducks and those clouds

I fussy cut the ducks, the clouds and some rain puddles and popped them up with dimensional foam. 

The clouds - well, I sort of bent the edges to give them a little life. 

I also took a little creative license and added some stitching to the bill on the hat on that center duck.

Hope this card makes you smile and lets hope for an early spring

With Brave Wings She Flies

Welcome back.

Whew, This is a busy week here at Art and Soul,

 I have 3 cards for you this week. 

Yesterday was card #1, this is card #2 and the third card will will post tomorrow.

A long time ago (no this isn't a fairytale - LOL) I bought a large puzzle piece and I used it as a card of sorts but I made a copy of that puzzle piece shape. Well I pulled that puzzle piece out and its been sitting on my table for a good while and last nite I finally came up with a card idea,
This puzzle piece is approximately 6.5" X 6.5"

Here is a peek of that puzzle piece. 

I traced this onto my white CS to make that fun shape.

You know that Fred She Said is the sponsor of the Craft-Dee BowZ challenge this month.... and I saw a darling bird on their site and fell in love with it. So I bought it last nite. Next I decided the bird and the puzzle piece would be a great match. So.....................................

........................Here is the card

I  used a gold leafing pen to add a gold tone outline on the puzzle shape.

It's a triple loop bow.

I chose Scribbled Floral 1

Here is my card

I wanted to use a floral image and hopefully we will have an early spring.

This bow is 2 triple loop bows layered one on top of the other. The bottom bow is slightly larger than the top bow,

Well I thought I'd start out the new year with a floral card.

 Maybe we will have a mild winter. 

So far we are.
