Hi Everyone
Recently a good friend of mine just experienced the loss of one of her two dogs. I am sure she was devastated. I know I would be.
I thought I'd share with you a card that uses a set that is dedicated to pet loss. I find that these kind of stamps are hard to find. So when Sparkle N Sprinkle introduced this stamp set, I was so grateful.
The set I used is 472S Pet Sympathy. It is a stampette set which means the set is somewhat smaller. This set is cute and is a wonderful set to have on hand for times when a card is needed when a friend loses a pet.
This card was fun to make. I made my own glitter paper for the background behind the dog, using Sparkle N Sprinkle Shimmer Embossing Powder EP137.(Go to my Techniques and Tips page to view my "how to" video.) Don't be afraid to use various odd things to add texture and interest to your creation. I love using corrugated paper from boxes. Save some from a package you get, it's free!!
Thanks so much for stopping in today, see you soon!!

What a darling little card Barbara. Love the added glitter paper background.
Barbara, this is an adorable little card. Love that hand-made glitter paper and the crimped panels behind the image.
Wonderful card and this type of image is pretty hard to find. Love all the textures you added. Just noticed that you change your signature line all the time too - this one is so cute (and perfect for this card, which is why I'm sure you chose it.) :0)
What a sweet card - lots of great texture.
Barbara, I love the colors you used and the home made glitter paper. What great patients you have to cut around the image. Wonderful!

Sweet card. Love how you used the corrugated paper and how you placed the sentiment in the punched out circle.
