A Rose Is Just A Rose

Hello
How's your Wednesday going??

I thought I'd pop in to share a card I've worked on. These slimline cards seem to be really popular right now.

I used a single rose image and some cool papers for layering, all from The Artsystamper

Here is the card.

I started with a off white 4"X 9" base card.
Next I added the 1st layer, The Begonia Tea stain Lace paper (Its in the Fall Flowers Paper Pack)
For the next layer I used - Artsy Jelli Papers - Count Down
Next I added that single Rose its in the Vintage Roses and Birds set

I colored that beautiful single rose with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers

Visit  these other spots for more inspiration from The Artsystamper
This card was so fun to make. And I don't know about you, but I really like these tall skinny cards. So look for more of them from me from time to time.

Poinsettias in July

Hello everyone.
Hope you are having a nice weekend.

Do you like working with digi images?? I know I sure do.  Why? Well the storage is great, and easier to find. They take up little space compared to c;ear or rubber stamps. Can change the size of the image. Can make a scene (sometimes), can mask depending the software you use. And I am sure you can add to the list.

Do you like sharing your creations with others? Me too. Who doesn't like to do that.
Well The Artsystamper has a new facebook page for all you Artsystamper digi lovers. You can share your lovely projects or just browse and get ideas. The new spot is called The Artsystamper Addiction, click here to check it out and join.

And by the way if you like freebies, there is a photo file on the facebook page with freebies in it. Please make sure to check it out.

My card today was made by using the pine sprig in the freebie album. And I also used the poinsettia flower from the Winter Florals set which is available in the store.Check that out here
It turns out that this is the first christmas card for this season (I think)

Here is my card

I used colored pencils to color the poinsettias and I used Staedtler triplus fineliner to add color to the pine sprigs. I fussy cut the poinsettias and popped them up next to the pine sprigs.

Flowers Galore

Hello Everyone
Welcome back to my blog. Since it's the first Tuesday of the month, it's time for my Craft-Dee BowZ Tuesday Inspiration post for July.

Believe it or not, my project does not have any stamping (images) this time. But this project definitely calls for a bow (IMHO).

Let me share this cool project with you.

This is called a Flower Bag Box.

I made this box and gave it to my friend for her birthday, last week.
She was so surprised, and loved it.
I figured it might look great in her guest bath.

The top was the perfect spot for a bow.

Here is a closer view of my bow.

My Bow - I used Hug Snug (Yep, by now you know it's my fav bow making material) which is a thinner ribbon (really its a seam binding) and it makes it easy to make a quad loop bow.

Don't forget, the Craft-Dee BowZ bow making tool is the best tool out there
that will aid you in making your bows.
The tool is small , easy to store, easy to use and so portable.

To order yours, go to the Craft-Dee BowZ blog
and click on the Buy Now button located on the left sidebar

SUPPLIES I USED ON MY PROJECT

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope I have inspired you to make a project other than a card for a change.

I will be back soon. In the meantime stay safe and be well.
