Send Me a Tweet

Hi Everyone

Oh my, it's June 1, already. We are almost half over with this year. I don't believe it.

Well, since it's June 1, that means it's time for the June Craft-Dee BowZ challenge. The design team has some great inspiration projects for your review. Click here and check out the other DT projects.

In the meantime, let me share my inspiration project.

As I assembled this card, I didn't have a sentiment. So I set the card aside for a bit. Then as I looked at the birds, I just thought of  tweeting. So that's how the sentiment came to be. LOL

I added a feather to the tails on both of these birds.... just wanted to embellish these birdies a bit.

I used my Craft-Dee BowZ tool to make a stacked, triple loop bow. Here is a  close up of the bow I used on my card.

The Craft-Dee BowZ tool makes this kind of a bow, and it's so easy to make.
This tool might be small but will make a big difference in your bows.

    Use Your Wings

    Hi Everyone
I am back today with a card I made for my monthly stamp club meeting. Last month I handed out a blank card with a funky fold and we all were to use the blank card and come back with a design.

Here is the card I made.

The card will stand on its own and has no front/inside like a regular card.
I used yellow CS and washi tape. On the left side I added a punched leaves and branch.
I thought I'd add some homemade photo corners. Added a few leaf sprigs to the left corners. I stamped the bird in black ink and colored the flower in a Spun Sugar pink using a Distressed Marker. I also used Pan Pastel Dairylide Yellow to add a halo around the bird.
I also added some glitter dots to all that white around the bird.

    February Craft-Dee BowZ Challenge

    Hi Bloggers

Today is Feb. 1 (do you believe it)
and it's the start of the monthly challenge over at Craft-Dee BowZ.
Their challenge is always Anything Goes with a Handmade Bow.

This month their sponsor is Cute As A Button
and the winner will receive 2 single digital images.
We'd love to see your entry.
Hope you can join in the fun

In the meantime let me share my Craft-Dee BowZ inspiration project

For the background on this card, I used a Cover a Card stamp from Impression Obsession. I stamped it with VersaMark and used clear EP and heat set it. OK so that's not a big deal, right? Well after I did that, I used foil on the embossed image with the use of my laminating machine.
    Worked like a champ.

Here is a close up of  my multi-loop bow.

That bow is so easy to make with the Craft-Dee BowZ tool

This great tool is all you need to make  a bow.
A bow for your card, for your scrapbook, for a gift, for a ..... you know for lots of different things.

    Step into my Garden

    Hi Everyone,

I have a quick post showing  a card using a few dies and one gorgeous stamp. One die set I used is from Sizzix, a tiny lily. Another die I used is from Impression Obsession and that dies called Hollyhocks. And that stamped image is from Serendipity Stamps.I have the whole alphabet and each letter is gorgeous.

Let me share the card with you.

Here is a close-up of the lilies and that stamped image.

And last but not least, here are the stalks of hollyhocks

When making this card, I used a brick wall embossing folder on the celery green panel. I rubbed over the raised design Lavender Bloom dye ink from Fresco to bring out that brick design. Love those inks.
