February Stamp Club - Challenge Card

Hello Everyone.

Welcome back!! It's time to check out my Stamp Club Challenge card

Each month we are given something to use on our challenge card and the finished project is due to be presented at the next meeting. At the January meeting we were given designer labels to use on our card/project for the February meeting.(I picked 4 items but forgot to photograph the 2 items I used on this card, but you will kind of get the idea from this card.)

Card front
The label I used is old looking and I thought it would look great on a baby card.
I had another label and I decided to cut it up and use it on the inside of the card.

Here is how I did the inside of the card

Still plenty of room for a note or a sentiment.

Here are the other 2 labels/tags that I received but I chose not to use these, so they will get used in the future.

My baby card turned out really cute and will be a great card for the next time I need a baby card.

SUPPLIES I USED ON MY PROJECT
Paper/Card Stock: White CS, DP, Mint Green CS
Dies Used: Sizzix - Tim Holtz Thinlits Handwritten Love
Accessories: Stickers (corners). Mint Green Doily, labels provided by Stamp Club Member
I am submitting my card to the following  challenges:
Hope you liked my card using labels. We can all make labels by adding tape to the back of an image don't we.

I will be back in March with more stamp club projects.

Here is what is coming up for the March meeting
March Stamp Club Theme card -   Things that Fly (interesting and that can include a lot of different things)
March challenge - Use poster stickers given to us by Sandy N.( I will include a picture of what we were given before I use it so you can see what I started with.)

February Stamp Club - Theme Card. - Shaped Card

Hello everyone

Well we are almost half thru with February. Spring is not far away. (Can you tell - I'm not a fan of cold weather - LOL)

We just had our February stamp club meeting and the theme card is a shaped card. Now, IMHO that means not a rectangle or square card.

A little back story on my card -Many years ago I bought a plain (bigger) chipboard puzzle piece and decorated it. However I never gave it away. Glad I didn't, because, I traced that puzzle shape onto white CS  and made a new creation. The puzzle piece is roughly 6 3/4" square including those 2 pieces that stick out on the two sides, but it really doesn't look that large.

Here is my card I made for stamp club

(I loved the way this turned out so much, I made another but used a cute digital image and I used it for a friends birthday card and she loved  it.)

Just For You

Hello Everyone,

Since its the first Tuesday of the month, it's time for my Inspiration Tuesday project
 over at Craft-Dee BowZ

February has gotten underway and we are inching our way to Spring. That's a good thing.

Spring makes me think of flowers
and I thought I'd share a card with a beautiful poppy on it.

The poppy is a stamped image from Stacy Stamps
It'spart of a 2 stamp set (cling mounted rubber stamp set)
and the main stamp is the one on my card and the other is a  corner stamp
You will find this stamp set in the garden collection in her shop.

Let me share my card with you.

I added a little sprig of a die cut greenery

Here is a close up view of my bow.

To make this bow, I used a white sheer ribbon, (my fav) and its a triple loop bow.
The left top corner was perfect for this bow.

I used my Craft-Dee BowZ bow making tool. Don't forget, the Craft-Dee BowZ bow making tool is the best tool out there that will aid you in making your bows.

The tool is small , easy to store, easy to use and so portable.

February 2020 Craft-Dee BowZ Challenge

Hello Crafters

Welcome to February and to another new month.
Oh February, the month of Groundhog Day, Love and
My Birthday

And of course, February ushers in the start of a new

Our February sponsor is

The Winner will receive:
a gift code (appox. 4 images) to purchase digital images
Click here to check out the Bugaboo digi's

I used Sweetheart Moon
on my card.

Below is  a pic of the card finished.
I wanted the card to be CAS and I call this one a semi-CAS card.
I am just not a CAS kind of gal. LOL

I foiled the image

The pic below really shows off the image foiled
This is before the card was finished.
It's hard to photograph and show the whole image foiled

I used some sheer ribbon to add interest to the bottom of my card.
I punched circles and laced some sheer ribbon thru those punched areas. After doing that the sheer laced area became the perfect spot to add my bow.

I used my Craft-Dee BowZ tool  to make my bow and its an easy to use tool.
The great thing about the Craft-Dee BowZ tool
is that it makes great smaller bows for cards or tags or gift bags
as well as the larger bows to use on regular size gifts

If you are bow challenged - the CDB tool is for you.
The tool is small and makes great bows.
It's portable and easy to store.
