Happy Birthday

Hello Everyone

Today is the last Tuesday of April and I thought I'd scoot in and share my latest Happy Birthday card and the last Tuesday inspiration  for the month of April. I used a colored digi image that I printed on printable acetate. Then I added a piece of glitter film behind the acetate and trimmed it. Next I backed it with white cardstock to make the image pop.(Too bad the photo really doesn't do the printing on acetate justice. It really looks great in person.)  After that, I added pink CS and designer paper layers for more interest. I have a super small heart punch that I have had for years and those heart shapes are just the right size.

The gold Happy Birthday sentiment is a peel off sticker. I bought a sheet from Stamp On It. They have large selection of various peel off's. These are getting harder and harder to find.so when I find ones that I like I buy a few sheets cause I'm afraid they will not be around when I might need some more.

Here is my card

And my bow is a triple loop bow and I used the Craft-Dee BowZ tool to make it. It's the best bow making tool going. Perfect for anyone who is a challenged bow maker.

Are you bow challenged?? You really should have one of these.
I love mine and use it all the time.

Hello Everyone,

It's time for another challenge over at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends.

The theme is always - Anything Goes.

The sponsor for this challenge is

I am showcasing the prettiest image -
Winterfairy.

I looked at this sweet fairy and she reminded me of the song
When You Wish Upon a Star

I added stars, and used a embossing folder to give me some embossed rays

Karate Requires Patience

Hello and welcome back to my blog!!

Well, it's the beginning of a new month. No April Fools here, LOL.

Since it's the first of the month that means it's time for the April challenge over at Craft-Dee BowZ.
The challenge runs all month and the theme is always - Anything Goes with a Handmade Bow

LeAnn's World101 is the sponsor over at Craft-Dee BowZ this month. The winner of the April challenge will receive 3 digital images of their choice

I needed a boy card and thought this cute karate image would be perfect.

I had some paper that has a wood design on it and figured it would work perfect with my image.

On the internet, I found a cool saying perfect for the inside sentiment
and it seems to be a great fit for this card

And as far as a bow is concerned, I just used a single loop bow. Nothing frilly for a guy.

Here is a closer view of that bow.

I used my trusty Craft-Dee BowZ tool.
I don't know what I would do without it.
If you are bow challenged, then the Craft-Dee BowZ tool is just what you need.

Order yours today over here and look on the left sidebar
