Thanks

Hello and welcome back to my blog

Well here we are, July 1, and that means it time for the next challenge over at Love to Scrap. The theme is always - Anything Goes. Hope you can join in the fun and submit a project to the challenge. The challenge will be open til August 15, so you have plenty of time and I'd love to see your creation.

My card is spotlighting scraps I used from my never ending amount of scraps that I seem to never want to throw away.(LOL) I'll bet you can relate.

I love flowers so I used dies and punches to make the leaves and flowers on the card front. The paper under flowers/leaves has a green foil design. (Sorry its hard to see in the photo). Also the papers under the flowers were not the size I really wanted to use on the card front but I decided to layer them to show them off a bit and as an accent to the overall card.

Hope you've enjoyed my creation and hope it gives you some ideas on how to use those larger scraps you have in your scrap drawer just waiting to be used.

Have a great day and see you soon,

Hello and welcome back to the newest challenge at the Merry Little Christmas Challenge. This challenge  runs til August 15, so you have plenty of time to get your project submitted and of course the theme is always Christmas.

Christmas cards are so much fun to make and the sky's the limit on the designs the we can come up with, don't ya think!!

My card below was  really pretty quick to make so if you have a few cards to make and don't mind making the same card a few times in a row, then this card might be the card for you.

The base card is a 5X7 (my favorite size) in white. Next layer is a deep blue. After that is another white layer that I embossed using a snowflake design.

The letters are die cut using the same deep blue CS . Next I adhered the letters onto strips that are layered deep blue and a light blue DP. I decided to off set the letters for an additional interest. Lastly I punched out the snowflakes using holographic paper and randomly attached to the card front.

Hope this will give you some ideas for your Christmas cards. I hope to see your project entered into the challenge.

Thanks for stopping by
