Easter Is On The Way

Welcome to the Love To Scrap challenge. This challenge goes til April 15. So you have a good amount of time to design your card/project and get it entered. Love To Scrap is a scrapping challenge blog welcoming all types of scrapped projects - cards, scrapbook layouts, ATCs, mixed media, altered items, 3-D projects, etc. - using bits of leftover items in your stash or new stuff! Well that about covers it all, LOL.

Let me share my card with you. Back last August, I saw this stamp set at the Stampaway stamping convention. The bunny was really calling my name so I purchased this set and filed him away.

Well as I was deciding what to use on my card for this challenge, I remembered that bunny so I pulled him out and got started. I used all the stamps that are in the set. It's a perfect set with all the added stamps that really compliment this cutie. The colors that I used I felt were perfect for this set.

The bunny was easy to color and the additional stamps in the set  make for a perfect background.

I wanted a torn edge look for the back ground pieces so I tore some of those stamped pieces and I used deckled edge scissors on the other pieces and that cute bunny.

Products I used:
Stampers Anonymous - Tim Holtz Collection - Mr Rabbit
Memento Inks - Various colors
CS - Yellow, White

Well that's it for now
I hope to see one of your submissions in this challenge

Thanks for stopping in and I hope to see you soon

Season's Greetings

Hello there!!!
Welcome to March 1 and it's time for the next Merry Little Christmas Challenge

This challenge will run til April 15. So get your creative thoughts together and add your entry into the challenge. You have plenty of time.

This card is so unique. Lots of columns and a fold down the center and the back of the card.
Columns are really easy to make and they really make a great yet different look.

This picture shows the columns on the ends and the folds on the front and back in the center.
I used 4 columns and  2 card bases, one for the front and one for the card back.
Layers add a lot to the card and really make the design stand out

Here is a view of the back. Plenty of room to add a white panel for a sentiment and or a personal note'

And yes this card will fit in an envelope. I used a 6X9 envie because of the thickness with all the layers and the folds. But, this card is worth the few extra cents. It really makes a statement!!!

Products used:
Stamps - Inky Antics (Filled with Joy) Image and sentiments
Designer paper
Spellbinders Die - Oval
Ink - VersaFine Clair - Nocturne

This card was really easy to make and I think it really makes a statement
Hope you try something like this.

I also hope to see one of your submissions in this challenge

Thanks for stopping in and hope to see you soon
