Crafty Creations Challenge -328

Hello everyone
Time for a new challenge over at Crafty Creations.
The theme is ANIMALS
This challenge will end Nov 22 at 10:00 p.m. ET
Stop over there for more info on their current  challenge

Their theme is animals and this is such a fun theme. After digging around and looking at the animals in my stash I decided to use a pretty reindeer outline stamp.

I stamped the reindeer on brown card stock and as I looked at it, I decided to do some paper piecing. I stamped the scarf area on red CS and the antlers were stamped on a light tan CS. I fussy cut the deer. Next I fussy cut the antlers and the scarf and placed them in the area where they are on the original stamped image. Added a red colored half pearl for his red nose.

I had a vision that the deer would be next to some pine trees. So I die cut two pine trees using CS and DP.  I also mounted the deer on layered ovals and as I was laying this out on the card the background just looked so naked. I decided to add a stamped forest scene on that background. After adding that and as I layered the die cuts and the mounted reindeer over that background, it just came together.

This will make a perfect man card, or a Christmas or winter card.
Hope this has inspired you.

Ornaments For Your Door

Hello Everyone
Thanks for stopping in today,
I want to share with you what I made for my front door. I call it my "door ornament".

I had wanted to make a spray for my door and looked at Michael's and spied the perfect sprays. These sprays are a little larger and I bought 2. Brought them home and within 10 minutes I had the sprays wired together and ready for the finishing touch - a bow. And of course I used my Craft-Dee BowZ tool to make that fluffy bow. Since the ribbon is wired it will definitely hold its shape.

Another great thing about wired ribbon is that next year after bringing this out of storage, just rework the loops and fluff them up a little and this will look like you just made the bow.
(That's why I love wired ribbon so much)

Really -  this project was ready in less than 30 minutes and that is great news when you have lots on your plate to get ready for the holidays.

This tool will be your lifesaver for making bows and a whole host of other things this tool can help you with, for your various projects. Click here to go to Craft-Dee BowZ and check out the video links on the left sidebar to see what else the tool can help you make.  Click here to order your own Craft-Dee BowZ tool and if you order yours now, you will get it in plenty of time for all your holiday bow making needs.

    Time for Ornaments

Welcome to November 1 and all that comes with the next two months. Halloween is a fading memory and Thanksgiving is fast approaching with Christmas right on its heals.

Today my project focuses on an ornament that is all glittered and ready for the Christmas tree,

I decided to make a double loop bow.
I didn't want to overpower the ornament.

I also added an ornament topper to jazz the up the ornament just a little more.

The bow is the perfect addition to the ornament
    and adds the perfect adornment.

The Craft-Dee BowZ bow maker is a tool that lets you make the perfect bow. It lets you decide the bow size and it gives you the capability to choose the amount of loops in your bow
     to compliment your project.

This tool is small but packs a powerful punch for your bows.

Crafty Creations Challenges 327 - Water Color

    Hi Everyone

Well it's time for the next challenge at Crafty Creations Challenge. The theme for this challenge is Water Color and what a fun challenge theme. So I thought I'd pull out some of my Art Impressions stamps that are used in their water color technique.

Since its still so warm in my area,I decided to make a scene with flowers. I guess fall is on vacation in a lot of different areas of the US. We have yet to have a frost. I still have my house plants on my front porch. Kind of a strange feeling with all this warm weather so late into October.

Enough about the weather - let me share my card with you.
