O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree........................

A while back I mentioned I had made some gifts for friends but I couldn't share the pictures because the people getting these read my blog. Well, I can share the pictures now because they have their gift now.

I took pictures of 3 of the trees but,I actually made 6 different trees and they all came out great and they are all slightly different. I have to thank Sylvia Weaver Rivera from TheHive for showing her book/Christmas Tree at TheHive. Here is my take on her project. Thanks Sylvia, for giving me the inspiration for this project. I love it and the people who received these just love them as well. I picked up the books I used at my local St. Vincent de Paul. So I am doing my part of being "green", and 4 book only cost me $1.75. What a bargain!!!

Well that is it for now, thanks for stoping by,

Barbara, first of all, thanks so much for sending me to the blog for the angels. I am going to try these but don't know if it will be in time for Christmas. Second, these book trees are awesome! You have really done a great job decorating them.

Barb - Thanks for making me one of the lucky recepients of your Christmas Tree Books. It's beautiful and serves as my tree in the family room - looks great on the fireplace! Appreciate your time, thoughts, and efforts in this wonderful gift - it's the best. Thanks again. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Hi Barbara, I am so, so happy that you were able to make those!! They are so beautiful!!! I was coming to your blog to share with you how I folded the pages, but I see you figured it out!! You really did an AWESOME job!!!!
I didn't fold in the bottom part of the page the way you did, I just folded the protruding part from the bottom up into itself. Both ways work very well! Once again...they are very beautiful!!!
May you and your family have a blessed Christmas and a wonderful New Year!!!
Hugs,
