Sparkle N Sprinkle World Animal Day Blog Hop

Hi There
Welcome to the Sparkle N Sprinkle World Animal Day Blog Hop.If you arrived here from the Sandy's blog then you are in the right spot. If you just happened by, you will want to start at the Sparkle N Sprinkle blog to get all the details on the prizes and please make sure to leave comments along the way.

Tomorrow Oct. 4 is World Animal Day and since we are celebrating the critters in our life, I have designed 3 cards and 2 of the cards are in honor of the critters in my life. I have 3 cats and have had cats in my life ever since I have been 3 years old.

This little guy reminds me of Buddy, the newest member of my feline family.Buddy just appeared at my house one day and has never left. I think someone dumped him. Buddy looks just like Morris, the cat but he's just not as famous, but we aren't telling him. Click here for directions.

The other 2 "cuties" in my house are Lucy and Coco and they are rescues. They are mother and daughter and I have had them for 10+ years. They are pals and are always together and this stamp just reminded me of the "girls".
Click here for directions for card below.

I've included a third card so lets take a quick trip over to Africa to look at one more critter.
Nope not another cat, this one is a Zebra. I have always loved this stamp and wanted to show you how cool this critter is. Click here for directions for the zebra card.

Your next stop on the critter hop is Dawn. Hop over and check out the critters in her blog.
Thanks for stopping and don't forget to leave a comment to become eligible for a prize.

Such a delightful card with wonderful Autumn colors. This kitty feel very loved in his homey setting. It must be Buddy, right? And then the next card is the Mama and Daughter? That leaves the jungly Zebra as being Frank - LOL Thanks for making such artfully unique and beautiful cards, Barbara!

Wow, these cards just pop, Barbara. Love all the dimension to the cats, isn't it fun that you can personalize the stamps to be your own! Love the branches on the zebra card. Great job!

Great cards. I especially love the zebra card. Someday I hope to go to Africa so I can see them in the wild. I have a severe cat allergy so I don't have cats, however I do like the "rubber variety" since they are extremely hairless!

Great cards! I love the ribbon on the first one, so pretty, and my kitty is also named Lucy. Hopefully yours is better behaved than mine!

I really enjoyed all three of your cards. The orange & yellow worked so well on your first card. I love the ribbon. The mother & daughter cats on the second are adorable. I like how you did the twigs with the zebra.

I love cats and your cat cards really made me smile -- but that zebra one with the green punched leaves around the frame is really a standout.

Your backgrounds are absolutely beautiful. You must be a pretty patient person because of all the intracacies in your backgrounds. I would never have the patience to add all those layers. The layers all add real delight.

Your zebra card is beautiful! He's a wonderful animal, and your framing is perfect. I had not thought of using the MS twigs like leaves. It's great! Thanks for sharing.
I love kitties, too! We always have a couple under our feet.
