Stitched with Love

Hi Everyone,
Welcome back. Today I have another card in the sewing theme, this time using stamps from set 461 Sew Fabulous.  I mentioned my mom was a wonderful seamstress and she had a sewing machine just like the one on my card. In fact I still have it. It's a portable one and it has its own case. Back then they weren't plastic, they were wood.

In making this card I actually got my sewing machine out to stitch up the quilt I made from different squares of designer paper/card stock.I used 2 different decorative stitches on the quilt. Again memories of my mom flooded back as I worked on this card. I think she was here with me as I completed it.

Well that is it for today. Thanks so much for taking time from your busy schedule to visit. Have a great day, see you soon.

Your card makes me wish I could sew. I hate sewing machines, but I sure love the results when they are used in making quilted backgrounds like you did. If I make a quilted background I have to draw my stitches on. At least I don't get all tensed up like I would with a machine. Your sewing machine image works wonderfully with the quilt pattern.
