Getting Ready For Fall

Hello Everyone
Welcome to the start of a new month.
Gosh, we are halfway done with summer. The time is a'flying, isn't it!!!

has started and the theme is Anything Goes
The sponsor for August is
The winner will receive 3 digital images

I decided to work up a fall card.
(I think I'm tired of the hot dry weather we've been having lately)

This card is a really simple design
and the image I used just screams fall.
I used the Pumpkin with Vines image

I just love pumpkins.
And of course they are definitely a reminder of fall.

I think black goes so well with orange so, I got out some black wide, sheer, wired edge ribbon.
Since my card is a 5X7 size, the bow I made is a little larger.
This bow is just a double loop bow. And that ribbon has a hint of glitter on it.
Here is a closer view of this luscious bow.

Fluffy bows are so pretty in person and also look great on a package or a gift bag.
The Craft-Dee BowZ bow making tool makes a great bow every time and it's so easy to use.

Teddy and his Candy Cane

Hello Everyone

Lil Patch of Crafty Friends has a new challenge that starts today
The sponsor is Imagine That

The prize is a $12.00 gift coupon to their digi shop

Since Christmas will be upon us sooner vs later, I decided to make a holiday/winter card.

And what a cute image for the upcoming holidays.

Since the teddy is sitting on a pile of snow,
I decided to use punched snowflakes
and I also used a snowflake embossing folder on the silver CS

That cute image really required very little coloring (IMHO)
So this can be a card done quickly

Paper/Card Stock
: Blue CS, White CS, Silver CS,

When You Wish Upon a Star

Hello Everyone,

As I started to write this post I had a scary thought.
Six months from today, we will be celebrating January 1, 2020.
WOW what an eye opener that is.

OK now that I got your attention, LOL,
I want to share with you my cute card,
and no it's not a Christmas or a winter card.

I have a friend that celebrated her birthday, yesterday, and as I made this card,
for my Craft-Dee BowZ post
I thought it would make a darling birthday card.
So my friend will be getting this card for her birthday when we get together

It's time for the start of the monthly challenge over at Craft-Dee BowZ
The sponsor for July is none other than

Her  digital images can be found here
She has lots of cute images.
Please take a few minutes and check out what she has to offer

I am using
Moon Fairy Snow Globe
from her snow globe collection
You will have to check them out, they are all adorable.

As I was coloring the image it made me think of  the song
"When You Wish Upon A Star"
so that's how I came up with the sentiment

Here is a closer view of that image

My bow has 2 components for this card. Bakers twine and a sheer dotted ribbon bow,

First I made my sheer ribbon bow (just a single loop bow)
and next I made the bakers twine bow  (about 6 loops).
I stacked the twine bow on top of the ribbon bow and tied them together
The twine bow just needed a little umph
so I used that sheer bow to give the finished bow
that little "added extra something". LOL

Of course bows are so easy to make using
The Craft-Dee BowZ tool
