CHA Update

What a week last week was!!! Participated in CHA this year, from the vendor side instead of being there as a store owner. I worked at Sparkle N Sprinkle's booth and it looked so pretty with all the glitter and embossing powders. So many colors so little time.  Needless to say, I had very little time to really look at all the different companies and their booths and their new offerings. And after the show I so little time to add info and pictures to the blog.

While at CHA I ran into so many friends and saw quite a few ladies whose blogs I read on an ongoing basis.
Taylor of Taylored Expressions
Randi of Randi's A New Creation (Randi used to stop in my store, so it was great to catch up with her.)
Met Becca Feeken, Amazing Paper Grace - and she has the most awesome blog. She has taught me so many things.Becca was with Randi and Kelly from Our Daily Bread Designs.
Lovely Linda - Art Happens with Lovely Linda and I will be seeing Linda in 2 weeks at Stampaway, in fact I will be assisting her in 2 of her classes.
Saw Ted from Inky Antics, Art Gone Wild, Darcies, Stampers Anonymous - Thanks for the goodies Ted
Stopped by at the Glue Arts booth and said Hi to Jim Rudolph. He has a great array of adhesive products that I carried at my store.
Looked at some new beads from Jessie James, these are so cool and will be available at Stampaway. You're gonna love these.
Met Suzanne McNeill from Design Originals, and handed in a Zentangle design that I made and added glitter to it. It was so cool. I think Suzanne liked it too, sorry I didn't take a pic of it. I will try to reproduce it. I also picked up a new Zentangle book and this is so much fun to do. I will have to make a new zentangle and post it.
I also saw Tim Holtz and his booth was packed, as always, so I didn't stay. I am taking 2 of his classes at Stampaway so I will be posting more on the classes I am taking from him in a few weeks.

I did see the new Cricut and it cuts AND prints, which is so cool. It's a little pricey, $600.00 but it has so many possibilities.
I saw the Cinch in person and I may spring for this one. This is a machine that lets you bind your pages like the Bind it All but you can pick and choose which holes you want to punch. I really like that a lot.
Oh how could I forget this, I saw all the new Spellbinder Dies and I ordered almost all the new ones. They are so cool. When these come in I will be showing the new dies on new card designs.

Friday and Saturday was the CHA Super Show and it was so crowded. I actually ran into to 2 ladies that used to come in to my store. It's a small world isn't it.

I have some great pic's of the wind turbines in West Lafayette Ind . These things totally amaze me. I will be posting pics and more info tomorrow. I have a project that I must get done and out the door by Wednesday so I am going to get started on that.

Well thanks for stopping by, see you soon,

Barbara
