Welcome back to my post.
It's time for the next challenge over at the Merry Little Christmas Challenge. This challenge is an all-things-Christmas challenge blog, welcoming any and all kinds of handmade Christmas creations all year long!
The challenge runs from May 1 to June 15. That gives you plenty of time to get your project entered in. More playing guidelines here.
I decided to use a cute snowman for my project. So let me share my project with you
He is a cutie, isn't he!!!
Let me share with you some info
Card Base CS - Med./Dark Blue
Card front
- Top Layer - White CS
- Background - I cut 1" squares and positioned them diagonally. As you can see I did not cover the whole layer. Also I left about 1/16" between the squares. The DP I used for all the squares does not match but is complimentary.
- Snowflake Images - The snowflakes I used are various sizes and the main one is quite large (its an Accu-Cut die) so I just used a part of it (white CS) The smaller snowflakes are punched shapes and I used silver CS.
- The stamped image is an older stamp. I colored it and added snowflakes using a silver pen.
- I cut the stamped image using an oval die.
- I cut another oval a little larger than the oval with the snowman. Used the same CS as the card base. Layered them and attached to the card front center.
- Stamped the sentiment and trimmed it down into a rectangle. Made a slightly larger layer in the card base CS. Rounded the corners and then attached the sentiment and layered piece together and then attached to the upper corner of card
- Attached the card layer to the card base.
OK let me show you the inside of the card.
I carried the snowflake theme over into the inside. Plenty of room on the left side to write a note.
