You're My Rainbow

Hi Everyone
Hope you all are having a great holiday weekend. I want to share a card today that might be more appropriate if it were a rainy day. And this weekend we are not supposed to have rain here in the Cincinnati area. So I guess you can save this one for a rainy day.

This card is an easy one to make.On a strip of card stock, color the umbrellas in various ink colors and stamp them in a few different positions. I mounted the umbrella strip on a slightly larger blue card stock strip and attached it to the card front.

Next I stamped and colored the rainbow on white card stock, fussy cut it out and attached it with dimensional foam. I stamped those cute little clouds on white card stock and fussy cut those out too and they are attached with dimensional foam as well. Adding the sentiment at the bottom of the card finished it

SUPPLIES USED ON MY PROJECT
Stamps: Hero Arts -You're a Rainbow set, Sunshine set
Paper/Card Stock
: Blue CS, White CS
Ink: Dye Inks - Memento - Various colors

I am submitting this card in the following challenges:

Thanks for stopping in today. I will be back soon. Have a great day!!

Happy Spring

Hi Everyone,
Happy Sunday!!!. Thanks for stopping in today!! Hope you are having gorgeous weather today in your area. It's really pretty here in my area. I just noticed that my burning bushes in the back are starting to bud out.And  I am seeing lots of birds, so spring has finally arrived!! Hallelujah!!!!

On my last post, I made a card and used a cloud (part of the rainbow digi image) to make the icing on a cupcake. (Thinking outside the box.) Well, today, I have a card using the full digi image of the rainbow. The rainbow digi is courtesy of Back To Paper. Check out all the details over at Crafters Digital Art Center

I have a gorgeous embossing folder that I used for the corner and the full right side on this card. It includes butterflies and swirls. Two of my favorite things to add to a card.

Those clouds in the background, I made them using a template. Easy peasy. I flocked the clouds on the rainbow and used  glitter and a Permopaque pen on the swirls. I had fun making this and I think this is a great spring card, don't you.

Have a great day and I'll see you soon.
