Birthday Wishes

Hi Everyone and welcome back

Its the first Tuesday of the month  so that means its my turn to post over at Craft-Dee BowZ

A really good friend of mine is celebrating her birthday today,

 so the card I am showing you today is the card I made for her.

Since Beccy's Place it the sponsor over at Craft-Dee BowZ for April, I decided to use one of the images I have in my treasure trove of digital images.

(It's an oldie but a goodie, not available anymore)

I decided to use a floral image since we are in spring - it is spring isn't it??

 It's still cooler here in N.KY but supposed to get warmer and wetter. Oh well its not snow. LOL

I love this floral sprig. I actually used 2 sprigs, one is flipped to give me a mirror image. 

Then I arranged these to make it look like a really full bouquet.

That sentiment is a die cut,  I cut one in that light purple and I cut another in black. 

Then I mounted the two in an off-set manner.

Here is a closer view of my bow.

 I made 2 single loop bows, one a little larger than the other and stacked them. 

I just love this look and its so easy to do.

The flower is just a portion of the original flower sprig, I needed to make the inside look great as well.

Craft-Dee BowZ Challenge - April

Welcome back

It's April 1st and there's no fooling here. LOL

Let me share my card with you

As I looked at this old pump I thought it would look great next to a tree. 

I used an embossing folder to add the tree. I colored the tree sponging brown to the trunk and limbs areas and used my Distresed Crayon - twisted citron - to paint the green on the leaves.

Let me show a closer view of the pump.

I love this image. Also, see those leaves falling, well I got a blob of green in 2 different spots so I just added some leaf shapes and made it look like leaves falling, no mistakes, just opportunities. LOL

Also I added some stones to the bottom of the image just to fill up the space at the bottom.

I made a layered bow and added some leaves to the knot area for added interest.

Some Bunny Loves You

Welcome back everyone

Hi Everyone,

WOW, four months down. April has flown by and now we are into May. It's the first Tuesday of the month and that means its my turn to post for Craft-Dee BowZ. The designers were given a theme this month -  Spots and Dots. I made a collage image a while back and it was just waiting to be used. I decided to use a purple ribbon then I picked up a polka dot paper pad while I was in Tennessee giving me this beautiful purple polka dot paper. And this collage fit the bill and the card just came together.
