Thinking of You

Hello Everyone
Welcome back to my blog. Since it's the first Tuesday of the month, it's time for my Craft-Dee BowZ Tuesday Inspiration post for August.

I've been playing with some Heartfelt Creations Flowers (stamps and dies and molds) and thought these flowers would look great on a card to share with you all. To add additional interest, I glittered the petals of the flowers.(Hard to see because glitter seems to be camera shy.)

Let me share this cool project with you.

For My Bow - I used a sheer ribbon (Yep, by now you know it's my #2 bow making material)  and it makes it easy to make a multi loop bow. This bow is a triple loop bow.

Don't forget, the Craft-Dee BowZ bow making tool is the best tool out there
that will aid you in making your bows.
The tool is small , easy to store, easy to use and so portable.

Flowers Galore

Hello Everyone
Welcome back to my blog. Since it's the first Tuesday of the month, it's time for my Craft-Dee BowZ Tuesday Inspiration post for July.

Believe it or not, my project does not have any stamping (images) this time. But this project definitely calls for a bow (IMHO).

Let me share this cool project with you.

This is called a Flower Bag Box.

I made this box and gave it to my friend for her birthday, last week.
She was so surprised, and loved it.
I figured it might look great in her guest bath.

The top was the perfect spot for a bow.

Here is a closer view of my bow.

My Bow - I used Hug Snug (Yep, by now you know it's my fav bow making material) which is a thinner ribbon (really its a seam binding) and it makes it easy to make a quad loop bow.

Don't forget, the Craft-Dee BowZ bow making tool is the best tool out there
that will aid you in making your bows.
The tool is small , easy to store, easy to use and so portable.

Warm Winter Wishes

Hello Everyone,

It's already the first Tuesday of the month. That means it's time for my Craft-Dee BowZ inspiration project.

I must be in a hurry to get thru January, I somehow keep feeling it's February already--------wrong. LOL I guess that's wishful thinking. LOL

Well since it's still January and we really just started winter, I thought a card that has more of a winter theme might be more appropriate so I decided to use a really cute image.

Let me share my card with you......

These guys look like they are freezing, don't they LOL

I don't know about you, but some images have added dots and stars etc. around the drawn image. But when you fussy cut, they get left behind. And this image is no exception. So I added some sticky dots and stars back in to add interest around the image.

Since I had stars as accents I decided to add some to the bow as well.

Here is a closer view of my bow.

This bow is a triple loop bow using Hug Snug seam binding and boy does it make great bows!!!

I used my Craft-Dee BowZ bow making tool. Don't forget, the Craft-Dee BowZ bow making tool is the best tool out there that will aid you in making your bows.

The tool is small , easy to store, easy to use and so portable.

Peace On Earth

Hello Crafters,

November is here and chugging right along, isn't it.

Today is November's first Tuesday
and time for my Craft-Dee BowZ inspiration post

I wanted to make something plain/clean and simple,
however that really isn't my style.

This is about as close to plain/clean and simple as I will probably get.

Seems like I am hooked on pine trees
and this awesome die cut, lately.

Before making this card
I  just imagined standing in the middle of a pine forest,
with a little snow falling, and the quiet of the moment.
So with that in mind, here is my card..............

Here is a closer view of my fluffy bow.
It's a triple loop made using very sheer ribbon (my fav)

The great thing about the Craft-Dee BowZ tool is,
it's easy to use, it's small and portable and easy to store.
Makes great bows, whether they are little or larger, say for a gift.

Happy Birthday

Hi there! How's your week going so far?
Well the months are going by fast, aren't they???

Did you know, not only does Craft-Dee BowZ host a challenge, but they also post weekly inspiration projects each Tuesday?
Hope you will stop over at Craft-Dee BowZ and check out their inspiration posts.

Since it's the 1st Tuesday of the month, it's my turn to share an inspiration project.
The Craft-Dee BowZ challenge has already started and will be running until September 30

. I've been working on Christmas cards for a while., (I am preparing for a show in Cincinnati in November.) so I decided to take a break from Christmas and work on a birthday card.

Let me share my inspiration piece

and I hope it gives you some ideas to design a card or two.

This is my version of a clean and simple card.
And this is about as CAS as I can get.

On a white panel, I stamped the image in the center and without reinking,
I huffed onto the stamp and stamped the image again to the left of the original image.
Next, I huffed one more time and stamped again to the right of the original image.

I used a stamp with dots on it to add some additional interest.

I mounted the stamped panel on a raspberry panel.

I made my bow and attached it to the corner of this panel.

Next, I cut a larger panel and used an embossing folder to add texture and attached the stamped panel on top.

Finally, I attached all these panels to the front of the card.

Here is a closer view of my bow.

I used a 1/2" sheer ribbon.

I actually made a single loop bow and then stacked a smaller single loop bow
on top of the first bow
I then attached the stacked single loop bows onto the corner of the stamped panel.

The sponsor for the Craft-Dee BowZ challenge this month is Beccy's Place

The prize will be  1 digital set

Don't forget,
 the challenge theme is always
Anything Goes with a Handmade Bow
