Thank You

Hello Everyone and welcome back to my blog!!!

Today is the 1st Tuesday of the month,
and it's the start of March's weekly Tuesday inspirations over at Craft-Dee BowZ.
I am slotted for the 1st Tuesday of each month

On our Tuesday posts we can present whatever.
It just has to have a bow on it.

I decided on a spring look with a hand cut trellis look
down the center

Here is my card.

The trellis is hand cut. The vines/flowers are from the Heartfelt Creations Patchwork Collection.
I colored the sprigs and gave them a slight shape and attached them to the card front, weaving them in and out of the open areas of the trellis.
For some added bling I added gold sequins to the flower centers.

My bow - it's a triple loop bow and its a light purple and is a perfect compliment to the flowers.
It's so easy to make a bow using the Craft-Dee BowZ tool.
It comes with instructions and there are video's for those who like to "see" how to make the bows.

Strawberry Jam

Welcome to March!!

Spring is coming!! I will be glad to see the spring season. I am so done with Winter!! aren't you!!

It's time for the beginning of a new challenge over at Craft-Dee BowZ. The challenge runs all month and the theme is always - Anything Goes with a Handmade Bow

Cute As A Button is the sponsor over at Craft-Dee BowZ this month. The winner of the March challenge will receive 2 digital images of their choice from CAAB.

I thought the Strawberry Jam image was so cute, I just had to use it.

Let me share the card with you

I tried to make the jam jar look like it had been opened and half used, so I used some blue on the jar to look like glass. It looks  I had this card done and I decided it needed some pink behind that scalloped oval. So I lifted and pried the scalloped oval up and slid the Decorative Oval behind it to finish off the look. Seems like I often will make a card, get it finished, (or so I thought) and then I decide it needs something else, so I gently pull areas of it apart and redo/add things

My bow - it's a triple loop bow using my Craft-Dee BowZ tool. It kind of looks like a flower, doesn't it!! I used white Hug Snug seam binding and to color the ribbon I took my Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink pad and ran it over the Hug Snug and it gave me the color I wanted and needed.I topped that bow off with one of the flowers I made.

Those little flowers - they are from Heartfelt Creations - Flowering Dogwood.. These are stamped on vellum using Picked Raspberry and I added glitter to add some pizzazz.

New Baby

Welcome Everyone!!!

WOW it's February already!!

Hope everyone has/is weathering the brutally cold weather that has most of the US in its grip. This seems like it will stack up to be one of the coldest winters in a very long time. (Come on spring!!!)

Well since it's the first of the month Craft-Dee BowZ has a new monthly challenge.

The sponsor is

And the prize is
a $12 gift coupon to the Imagine That digishop

Let me share my project

I hadn't made a baby card in a long time, so, I decided to use this darling image.
It's perfect for a new baby or even to accompany a baby shower gift.

This sweet image is in a set that has many sentiments and 2 different images.
This set is called Sweet Dreams Sheep and it's so adorable, you have to check it out.

I used a die from Spellbinders to cut out this image and another to cut those banners.
Outline alpha stickers made the banners easy to spell out the 2 words.
I also used some pretty small silk flowers.

My bow- well its a triple loop bow and I used a sheer ribbon that is a perfect addition to the card.
It doesn't take away from the card, it just is a nice compliment.
