Merry Christmas - Craft-Dee BowZ Blog Hop

Welcome to the December Craft-Dee BowZ Blog Hop

If you have arrived here from Tracey's blog then you are in the right spot.  If  you would like to be eligible for a 25" reel of ribbon you must stop at each of the design team members blogs and leave a comment. Below is a list of the designers in our blog hop. Just visit each of them and leave a comment and make sure to leave a comment on the Craft-Dee BowZ blog also to put yourself in the running for the ribbon prize.

Barbara, (You are here)

I know the designers have presented incredible and oh so creative projects. I am the last designer on the DT rotation for the blog hop so let me share my project with you. I decided to make a card and a decorated gift bag, both of which are coordinated.

First - my card.

Next - My Bag Topper

For the bag topper, I started with a bag topper shape (scalloped oval) and I added a beautiful teal colored silk flower and a floral pick in the same teal color. And of course since this is to adorn a gift bag, a bow was added to add to the festive look.

Here is my gift bag adorned with the bag topper

I made my card panel and the bag topper base using watercolor paper that has Color Burst applied to add the awesome colors. Here is a peek at the piece that I have left over. This will give you an idea of what I used for the card and bag topper base.

I love the colors that the Color Burst gave me in the watercolor paper. I also used a fern stencil to get that green leafy image.

All of my bows were made using the Craft-Dee BowZ tool. This tool is the easiest to use tool for all your bow making needs.
