Happy Birthday

Welcome to the July/August Love To Scrap Challenge

And it is so exciting that this July 4 we will be celebrating 250 years, you know the semiquincentennial. That word is a mouthful in itself LOL
So since this is such a fabulous event to celebrate, and they don't come around very often (LOL)  I decided to make a birthday card for America.

I used a die set and an embossing folder from Spellbinders that are perfect for celebrating the ole Red White and Blue.

All the pieces I used with the dies and the sentiment came from my scrap drawers. Even those stars and the little ones are teeny tiny.  (Yea I know I save to many pieces but don't we all.)

Anyway this is my celebration card for this once in a lifetime event of celebrating this milestone in our nations history.

Products I used:
Card stock- Red, White, Blue
Die set - Spellbinders -  Die set Red White and Bloom(May 2026)
Embossing Folder - Spellbinders (March 2026)
Sentiment (and frame) - Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous - Simple Sayings
Ink - Memento

Hope you enjoyed my project and maybe it will give you some ideas on how to use those saved cardstock pieces that are patiently waiting to be used

Well that's it for now
I hope to see one of your submissions in this challenge  - and don't forget, This challenge goes til August 15. So you have a good amount of time to design your card/project and get it entered. Love To Scrap is a scrapping challenge blog welcoming all types of scrapped projects - cards, scrapbook layouts, ATCs, mixed media, altered items, 3-D projects, etc. - using bits of leftover items in your stash or new stuff! Well that about covers it all, LOL.

Thanks for stopping in and I hope to see your project soon
